More recently, this approach has evolved to a Quadruple Aim by including a focus on improving the work-life of healthcare providers. Each of these measures are impacted by decisions made at the organizational level, and organizations have increasingly turned to EBP to inform and justify these decisions.

Evidence-based practice refers to a logical approach to the transmission of medical care that combines the proof from previous examinations and individual supervision with the physician’s competency and patient desires and merits. The Quadruple Aim is an approach adopted by diverse healthcare professionals to optimize healthcare performance.  The Relation between EBP and Quadruple Aim
